Red RS250 cup Copthorne/Shipley Bridge

  1. I was following a few cars behind you from Copthorne towards Shipley Bridge/Gatwick tonight.
You had an annoying Alfa 156 tailgating you, but you had a VW UP in front of you holding the road up.

  2. Hmmm. How VW Up can hold Megane RS?:tongueout:

  3. Even though the road is 50mph speed limit (with lots of well sighted straights) its 97% double white lines so no overtaking!

  4. Are there speed cameras? :tongueout:

  5. Whether there are speed cameras or not, double white lines are there for safety reasons and only a complete bell end would even contemplate crossing them.

There are far too many arseholes on the road nowadays that are just giving hot hatches a bad reputation.

  6. Road rules are there to be adhered too, speed cameras or otherwise.
The UP was just going less than the 50mph limit for the entire road (not a crime in itself), just a normal driver in no hurry.
The Alfa clearly was as he looked like he was between 15ft and 5ft away from the megs ar$e at times.
The Alfa also had an Interlink LWB Merc Sprinter up his ar$e trying to hustle him along too.
