Red Bull Edition 265 track preparation.

  1. We have a customer in Sweden who shipped his car to us with a view to preparing the car for a forthcoming trip to the Nurburgring.

After many emails we decided on a final spec and here is the car we built for him.

  2. What's the spec?

  3. What mods were made to the car other than the obvious?

  4. The spec of the car included:

    Nitron R1 coilover suspension.
KTR bolt in 6 point roll cage bolted to welded turrets.
    Schroth harnesses
    KTR front strut brace
    KTR alloy intercooler
    ITG induction kit
Full KTR turbo back 3" exhaust system with 5" sports cat
    KTR braided brake lines
High performance brake fluid (car already had uprated discs and pads)
Evo Corse 18" wheels in gold with R888 Toyo tyres.

We also dyno tested the car as it came to us with a remap already installed and with the above it made a very strong 312bhp.

Here are a few more pictures of the car, I hope you like.

  5. Feedback from the customer has been that he is very pleased with the car and has noticed a great difference in its track performance and is looking forward to more track action very soon. Job done!

  11. awesome lookin car

  12. Nice job k-tec, is that a custom cage or mass produced for the mk3 looks lovely, overall appearance of the car looks stunning, love them wheels and the stance from the colies, expensive piece of kit

  13. Cracking looking, and great spec too.

  14. Looks great but prefer only a half cage in a car like this. to me a full cage just gets in the way.

Would love to see some videos of it in action.

  15. Thanks for the great feedback guys, it turned out to be a cracking car!

The wheels are not available in a 19" fitment, these are a true motorsport spec wheel which only go to 18".

The cage is our new 6 point bolt in cage which will be available on our site soon. It bolts to 4 supplied weld in turrets and will be available in a choice of powder coated colours.
