ok, I don't have many pics but I'll add later. I kerbed the shit out of the driver side front tonight parking at home. Livid...like I'm pissed beyond belief. The alloys I was going to touch up anyway but I think I'll be checking if I can book in Monday. Matte black is my colour of choice. Then get the door handles done to match. (currently chrome) I'm in talks with a few members for some r26 suspensions bits and maybe coilovers. Have a samco hose kit coming as well for the engine bay. Also looking into sticking a Nexus7 tablet into the dash - trying to find a ICE guy who'd take it on is difficult over here. Failing that, a upgraded double din HU. Last, possibly HIDs, but I've read a number of threads here already and I'm not sure anymore! Pics when the weather is nicer and prolly when I get the wheels done!
The short shifter is a great little mod, transforms the gear throw, just make sure you've got some decent drift pins before you try and fit it!
Bah, confirmed play in the steering rack. Reconditioned option. rather expensive to buy OEM! Samco hoses arrived today and I called in to get my alloys sorted. Looks like I have a slow puncture on the loaner wheels they gave me. *sighs*
That's what I had and is a common problem with the Megane steering rack. Almost certainly will be the bush in the passenger side of the rack
Defo play in the rack. Above the balljoint, under the bushing, it's the rack. Meanwhile, wheel should be back tomorrow! Thanks christ cos I had all sorts of pressure in the 4 loaners...2 different brands and the a rear was a different size :/ urgh. Annoys me. Also, nexus7 incar is a WIP also; had a chat with a nice chap today about what I was looking for and he said he'd check it out and get back to me!

Delighted I got them sorted...turns out I had some buckles in both left side wheels...shitty roads here or the kerb outside my house (no driveway - on street parking ) You can see the debadge on the nose also. Still bits of filler around, weather hasnt been in it for me to wash her properly.
Steering rack sorted. Win. Also got samco aux hose kit thrown on and a boost hose also. Q for y'all - for someone with the aux hose kit, can I see a pic of your engine bay with the hoses installed please! My mechanic has one hose left that just doesn't want to fit due to new hose being bigger than the space between the nipple and the actual engine. Still waiting to hear back on the ICE idea. Door handles and other chrome items are next to be matte'd. and I'll prolly get another silicon hose as well.
Been a while, will get some pics up this weekend. Rear windows tinted, makes an big difference. Toying with an android or windows tablet in the dash, hope to do that soon. Have a pair of hub bearings on the way and a steering bush to hopefully sort out the dodgy left pull in the steering.
After a mini valet on Sat, weather was gorgeous here the last 2 days. Took a few exterior snaps this evening.
