Recommended oil for track work

  1. As per the title, what’s the favoured oil, brand and spec, for hard track driving. Rs225 with the usual mods, plus 250 turbo, mapped to circ.285bhp.

I’ve run a na mx5 for a couple of years, used whatever was on sale, good brands, just changed it every 2 Trackdays, but now I’ve got something with some power, want to give it the best chance of survival.

    thanks.

  2. I always used Millers Nanodrive CFS 5W40 NT+ in my old R26 running ~300bhp, it's a bit more expensive than the standard oil which I've heard is perfectly fine, but I didn't mind the price difference for a bit more peace of mind.

  3. I had considered millers, I’ve heard it was good stuff. Thanks for the advice

  4. We’ve always used Fuchs Titan Pro S (was Silkolene a few years back) a real ester synthetic oil

  5. Think that’s what was supplied with the car, what spec did you use?

  6. Currently running 10W50 with 350 - 450 bhp

  7. Thanks

  8. I use this…
