Can anyone recommend good oil to use if I need to top up? I am not losing any oil at oil and my oil is not due to be changed for another 9k miles but I'd like to have some just in case.
I would just buy any RN0710 (or whatever Renault spec it should be) fully synthetic oil. I bought Shell Helix Ultra for less than £20 per 5l recently but whichever is on offer would do.
Can't you find out what was added last time it was serviced? I didn't know what to get for my R26. Used Shell Helix Ultra, Millers etc. in other cars but in the end went for the Renault Elf Evolution 5W40 stuff from RenaultPartsDirect due to quite a few recommendations on here. Just need to get some Fluorine grease now so that I can change my spark plugs.
