hi ive recently brought a megane 225 trophy, i was thinking about adding modifications to the car like for example a dump valve, an induction and a new stereo any recommendations ?????????????????????? thanks
Howdy! Just make sure it's in perfect condition before modding - it will only highlight faults quicker.
Main mods folk go for who are looking for that bit more power are, exhaust, FMIC, air box mod/induction kit and remap visual mods, r26r spoiler, springs (cooksport)
spoiler is a must imo, the top of the car is quite narrow and the bottom of the car is quite wide so needs something at the top to balance it out. feel like when i see one now without the spoiler doesnt quite look right lol
so if you bought the R26R would you remove the spoiler? lol each to their own i guess its all personal preference thats cool
I wouldn't change anything if I bought an R26R! It would be like modding a Lambo! But I wouldn't replace the spoiler in my R26 for an R26R one.
i understand that but thats a contradiction as if you dont like the spoiler you dont like the spoiler regardless if its a R26r or not.
Only a little but I didn't buy the R26R so it isn't really an issue. I wouldn't mod it either way. All personal preferences my friend.
An r spoiler needs the full r look, an r spoiler on a standard car makes them look like dodgy aftermarket spoilers...
But then your taking away something from the car. Reminds me of seeing an Escort Cosworth without the ridiculous whale tail. I think the harnesses in an R are daft too but I wouldn't take them out if I owned one.
yep you would be taking something away from the car but thats not really the point, the opinion of the spoiler wouldnt change though?
