Surprised 097 made it off the deck It's a nail it's a 31sqn jet. Thought I had a picture of me planking on it but it's 098! Some cracking pictures though mate!
Thanks very much guys tis much appreciated. 097 does look as though it's been through a rough time lately with the different colored panels all over it. Top planking Boardy haha
If you go to the tattoo again next year mate give me a shout and a will get you some tickets, I'm out the RAF now but still got loads of mates still in so will not be a problem.
The Tornado pics are amazing!!! I wondered whether you would see these Lee!! I used to live in Machynlleth Mid Wales and loved seeing all the planes going over back in the day
Yes mate, they are awesome, spent 7 years at Marham! Here are a few more of 097, It ingested a bird and destroyed an engine out in afghan. Spent 2 months on the deck after being repaird! Getting a good run after being fixed. And all ready to go again!
Epic pictures Nick! - do love a Tonka, they have dated so well Great pics as well Boardy My fave area for a day road trip in the meg is in the low fly zone in the scottish borders, but hardly any movements these days, its St Mary's Loch
