I'm ordering some leather dye from liquidleather to touch up some scuffed bolsters. They're asking for a sample of leather or a colour code. Does anyone happen to know? I've tried looking under the seats to see if there is any stapled overhang I can trim off and send as a sample but recaro seem to have done a pretty good job of leaving no excess anywhere
I've emailed Recaro and they've told me they don't deal with OEM recaros and that I need to contact Renault. Not got round to calling Renault yet
Decided getting a colour code or a sample of leather was going to be impossible. So ordered dark grey/black liquid leather scuff master dye for £20. The dye looked more dark grey than black and required quite a bit of black toner adding and a slight drop of gloss enhancer. Not 100% happy with the match but time was against me. Its certainly made the scuffs much less visible and if you had the patience to keep trying different shades you could probably do a fix that is very difficult to see.
