My drivers seat looks a bit worse for wear, shiney alcantara from daily use, any way of restoring it to look better?

Any good Tips and products etc would be good

  2. +1 on that I've heard race glaze alcantara cleaner is good but not got round to trying it yet

  3. Race glaze alcantara cleaner is really good stuff. For the leather have a look at the zaino cleaner and protector. Always a nice touch when you use a trim gel on the rear plastic shell as well. Something like auto finesse revive.

  4. +1 for the race glaze. Great value product and great for removing the shine. Get a soft interior cloth brush to go with it then when the products brushed in to the seat wipe/dry with a micro fibre.

Good shout on the thread Ash. Been meaning to ask for ages.

Blue Recaros....I have a black rub mark from where the seat belt crosses over the bit of seat above my shoulder. Any ideas?

  9. Another vote for Race glaze alcantara cleaner, I used it all the time when I had my R26.

I guess i'd use it monthly and then I would gently wipe down with a lightly damp micro fibre towel weekly, kept it looking good. i always found that just using a little worked best, i think the key to cleaning alcantara is not to really soak it when cleaning.
