Hi all Just finished stripping the rear seats and installing my buckets. When removing the rears I noticed the offside seat belt buckle has a cable going to it. Anyone know why only the right one has a cable? I kind of snapped the connector pulling it out the buckle, am I right in thinking this is not really necessary in the future if I revert to standard? I was watching a video on YouTube of a guy taking his rear seats out and his cable wasn't even plugged in from the factory and just taped up. Thanks!
I take off my back seats yesterday, and today I was still there doing some things, and I didn't have any plugs connected... I have some plugs there under the seats, but they've never been plugged in, I don't even know what they're for!
Ahh nice one thanks for the info. I think the cables must just be there as it might be an option on some none rs meganes maybe? Someone at the factory must of just decided to plug my one in, but just on one belt buckle out of 3 lol.
I know that some Meganes Coupe(I don't think RS) have weight sensors on the rear seats... maybe at some point the wiring is the same for both RS/GT/DCI
