Rear quarter panel trim R26/R26R

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by g10far, Aug 22, 2015.

  1. Hi All

Has anyone removed the interior trim for the rear quarters on a R26 or R26R before? I guess they're both the same just one has no rear seats in the way.

Any info would be good as I want to remove mine without breaking anything!

    Thanks

  2. +1 on someone writing a guide for this!

  3. If it's the boot one then unscrew the 2 spline screws that hold the parcel shelf brackets on, remove the boot rubber & pull from the bottom. If it's the rear panel where the rear seat should be then again remove the parcel shelf bracket, pull the bottom part of the seat out, there is 1 screw next to the speaker mesh to remove, a good tug on the b pillar cover then pull the rear quarter panel out.

Is a damn site easier if you remove the seats first - only a few bolts hold them in
the clips holding the door cards will probably all break but only a pound or so each to replace

  5. Cheers Lee, yes its the panel that would sit next to the rear seat, its and R so will the cage get in the way do you know?

  6. May I ask why you need it off ?
