It is located near side rear on the beam, I have only got to it by taking the wheel off but if you had a ramp could do without.
Cheers, what does the sensor consist of? As it's come back from its MOT says it's unclipped and the headlight are pointing too low.
Consists of a sensor with a bar that is connected to the rear beam, works with the front sensor the move the headlights to compensate for weight/height of car to give the correct level. Mine were faulty, replaced front sensor which lasted 4 months and for 3 years I have not had the auto level working. As long as both arms are connected I think it will pass the mot but you need to manually adjust them in a similar way to std lights. Ps did not think car would fail for beam being too low?
Thanks They only mentioned the rear one, it was working last week so will have a bash at re attaching it at the weekend.
Hi Karl died u have a go at the injectors ? I don't know if you saw my post replying to you about doing them
Yeah done them the other night, guide of the forum is good. Turns out it was the coils so was a waste of time lol
If Karl doesn't need it, I may have the bar off you. Mine doesn't seem to have one, yet I've never had issues with them levelling?
there is on "the other side" i saw a cad drawing, i had a front missing anl luckly stumbled across someone that had the front/rear and a unit so i got em quick
Anyone got the drawing to make this out of metal, both my link bars are missing, or even a link to buy standard plastic ones from eBay?
