Hi, I have an issue with the the rear arch extension at the fuel flap. There is a gap between the extension and the wing, the double sided adhesive tape has failed here. My question is if this is common and if there is a better solution then using the same adhesive tape again?
Due to the location of the failure, i would hazard a guess at fuel being the issue of the failure i.e cack handed person filling the car with fuel. Just a guess mind, but does seem strange straight below the filler.
I will not rule anything out but I'm careful not to get petrol on the paint and the only person filling it up before med was the salesman. At least as far as I know. Maybe they used heat when they applied PPF on the extensions, could possible be the reason. It seems like this happens rarely, I'll just redo it the same way Renault did it in the first place.
