Hi all, Has anybody experienced any one of these symptoms: 1 - When pulling from standstill slowly, I heard a quick rattling noise at the front (noticed it during a turn and also straight). Could this be the tie rod of the anti roll bar? 2 - When moving in 2nd gear at low speed, I heard a slight whining noise. The noise disappeared if in 3rd/4th gear at the same low speed. Is this normal? Really appreciate the feedback. Thanks
Cambelt tensioner rattle? What year is your car? Anything before Mid 2011 suffered from faulty designed tensioners.
Renault replaced the belt and tensioner under warranty so it will be documented in the service history.
Ok. Will check later. By the way, this tensioner problem, is it a continuous rattling sound or intermittent? Mine is heard from inside only when rolling slowly from standstill..
