Has anyone ever done this? The Recaros in my R26 are the least comfortable I've ever used. After about 3 hours of driving my lower back starts hurting. I've tried all variations of seat/steering wheel positions and the one that is least painful is seat furthest back, wheel fully extended and in its lowest position. The issue then is that I can only just reach 1st and 3rd gears and the steering wheel. I'm 6'4" and notice that only my arse and upper hamstrings touch the chair. I can move that sliding cushion around but it makes no difference as my legs don't touch it. I can drive my girlfriend's Kia Picanto for 5 hours straight in great comfort. As the seat is much higher, my legs are properly supported. Any ideas apart from changing the seats?
