Rain tyres

  1. Anyone got experience with the Bridgestone Potenza s001 87y? Ordered a set as my tyres are worn and got some great deal with them.

  2. Uniroyal rain sport 3's all day long. Changed onto mine and the grip wet or dry is impressive. Not too expensive either.

Hot off the press guys so to speak, I was chatting with Mr Goldtrack today, he was testing these new Dunlop DZ Z2 or something which are like the replacement for the DZ03g. He reckoned they were 5 to 6 seconds a lap faster in the wet than the DZ03 and feel really solid on track. I will be keeping an eye out for these as I felt OK racing on the DZ03 on a damp track and these puppies sound a lot like the perfect UK track dayers tyre (or for that matter a control tyre in club motorsport). I just hope Dunlop bring em in to the UK and release them soon.
