Their mint mate, I'd love to meet up and let you take some of my R26.R, I'd love one where you take a photo of a pair of sunglasses with the car in the reflection
Thanks everyone, Steve whereabouts are you from? The moon is surprisingly bright so the trick is not to over expose it. So if you have 300mm+ and expose for the moon using spot metering you should be okay. Here's the settings i used: Shutter speed: 1/1000 Aperture: F5.6 ISO 320 Hope that helps
Nice pictures! the last one looks like it's been taken from inside the cockpit of another plane. The ISS one is really cool!
I am in awe of your photography skills. If I had to take a picture of my monitor infront of me I would somehow manage to take one of the window.
Super sharp shots, very impressive, couldn't afford a Canon 500mm but may look at a Sigma 500 any experience of those?
Thanks mate, The Sigma 50-500mm lens is a good lens, I had one about 2 years ago. It struggles a bit in low light but with practice it can capture nice sharp shots, Plus of course it's handy having the 50-500mm reach making it a good all round lens. Here's some pics i got with it attached to a Canon 400D:
Looks great to me, I'm not intending to do much low little so may well be an affordable compromise for me due to my budget
They're brilliant as usual. Is the moon shot genuine? I'm not trying to be cheeky, but when I've tried this sort of shot before, the difference in focus needed makes one or the other subjects blurred. Granted this was using a telescope as a 1200mm lens and on full frame so less DOF.
