hoping someone can help Rad fans seem to come on when car is warmed up ? I’ve changed the temp sensor for a new Renault one and done a thermostat change for a Renault one and bled the system. Also the Aircon is not working either. I’ve recently had the clutch done if that makes any difference Fans come on full blast when car hits normal operating temp I have hot air at the vents when put on hot ? Fans remain on even when driving ? Anyone have any idea what might be the problem ? Cheers Chris
did you have the problem before the clutch was changed? I can't see the clutch affecting it but maybe whoever did it has knocked or damaged something?
Don’t think so but if something and would only be a wire was damaged then the problem would show up on clip ? The only thing showing up on clip is throttle body fault ? I’ve put a new battery on now and the aircon has pressure and is working now ?
i'm getting out my depth here ;-) not sure what error codes might/might not show up for this one Very weird the air con now works with a new battery - did anything change for the fans? And is the temp sender for the fans also used for the temp guage in the car? I know on some cars there can be 2 separate senders but don't know for a Megane II I think the fans are purely electrical so no mechanical clutch that can stick
