Great work Azagedon! RSMegane.com helping out members again!

  2. No worries happy to help.

I have a feeling my DMF is going to go very soon, it doesn't sound healthy! So I actually plan on buying those bits soon, I don't mind being the guinea pig to see if it fits:cool:.

I'll be getting the clutch in the next week or so. Just need to shift some eBay crap first!

Woah, that's a nice discount if they're genuinely the same part!

    Top work.

  5. Great thread!! Am i right in saying ill need a DCi clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder if i go this route?

  6. You'll need the above DCi clutch I linked to a R26.R flywheel to match it (or .R SMF) and a regular slave.

  7. Cheers mate. Is there any suggestions for places to get the flywheel?

  8. The TTV Racing solid flywheel from RS tuning.

Anyone know why the LUK slaves are all out of stock at ECP? Backlog?

  10. Sachs is in stock at euros £56.99. What clutch did you end up buying Naith?

I was aiming to stay away from the Sachs/Valeo (same one aren't they) due to the LUK being slightly more robust and cheaper... Might have to press ahead with Sachs though as I need it all fitting.

Not bought clutch yet that's next week mate, will be the R/science clutch though to go smf

  12. Oh really, I never knew that! I'll keep that in mind next time I buy from euros. I'm literally crawling to the certain end of my clutch so let me know how it all goes fella, and most of all if it all fits!

  13. Hi people.

If I'm changing my clutch on my 2006 meg 225
What do I need to give the man?
Do I really need to change the flywheel at the same time?? If not that would keep the price lower...
    But what's a definite need?

Sorry for being simple but I am

  14. You'll need a 3 piece clutch kit, which includes the clutch, cover plate plus a slave cylinder and also the flywheel.

Single mass flywheel is £358.99 from RSTuning or a standard dual mass is £354.99 from euro car parts.

Put your reg into euros and you'll find the clutch kit you need. Hope that helps .

  15. Has anyone done the diesel clutch on and r26r smf yet?? Have the clutch here and the flywheel on the way just wondering if anyone else has done it??

  16. Ive fitted it to my new engine. Fits fine, but have yet to try

  17. I take it fitted on the gearbox shaft no problem??

  18. So what os the combo you are using?
The smf of k-tax and pressure plate and clutch from the dci, or is the dci flywheel also smf?

  19. I put in the part number for the r clutch and i think it's the same as the diesel clutch, runs fine on my car! Saying that I've only done 100 mines since it was fitted!

  20. Got the diesel one in yours mate ?

  21. Why do you guys worry so much, it's exactly the same clutch!

  22. FYI: As of now the cheapest I can find is a .r clutch from euros £195.99 (or £166.59 with a 15% coupon).

  23. Can someone help me clarify
What is the clutch setup regarding the r26.r
Is it SMF stock or is it dmf ? Does the 1.9dci clutch setup sit on dmf that is stock on the dci or..... ?
I would be thankful for the info.

  24. The 225 and r26 come out of the factory with DMF.
The r26.r clutch is the same as the dci clutch, you must have a .r flywheel to match either of these two clutches.

So there are 2 versions of the SMF, one for 225/r26 and one for .r.

  25. Ok, so the r26.r is dmf or smf from factory?
And does the dci flywheel fit the r26.r also and is it of same type (smf or dmf) ?

  26. All megane 3s have dmf from factory.

The flywheel is the same price so doesn't matter what you go for just as long as they match the respective clutch.

Use eurocarparts.co.uk with a r26.r registration plate (find one on Google images) to find a clutch kit and standard dmf flywheel.

Use rstuning.co.uk to find a smf flywheel. Hope that clears everything cheers.

  27. Yes
Thanks a lot for patient
