Hi people, decided to join the megane scene for track fun & I love it. Think I may have purchased off a previous/current member on here. I bought the car after I sold my GTR R35 & for the buzz of driving I prefer the megane . Anyway, here's a few pics.
i have the Bimarco Grip seats but I'm gonna take them out as I had them in my Clio at the ring last year & got banned because of the seat head restraints
yeah I've done Oulton park & Donnington a few times, first time I've drove a car on slicks & loved it
Don't get me wrong, the GTR was an animal but I sort of fell out of love with it, didn't feel any connection to the car & the speeds you would be hitting corners at were bum twitching rather than enjoyable , so I sold it & bought a C63 & this megane which I buzz off every time I drive it
I'm from Swadlincote/Burton on Trent, couple of junctions up the M42 from yourself and Steves from Nottingham. We do trackdays together from time to time, last one being Mallory Park before that Oulton RS day and a few Cadwell evening sessions. I'm at Oulton on the 10th of November with Opentrack
Yeah we have a good crack, Steves got a clio track car as well as his R and another lad called Dean comes along who's also a top lad
I had a Clio aswell, full track car on ITBs but it just wasn't fast enough on the straights, I've still got all the forged internals for it as I was going to turbo it but I seen the megane for sale & bought that. I took them both to the Nurburgring in May & got kicked off in both as the seats were banned in the Clio & my GTR was 137db haha.
start my new job nov 9th, would have loved to get on a day at the local with you guys! have a good one.
Yep Josh's car,as said very capable car on track and as Steve said,cadwell with us on the 21st. It's a Saturday btw.
