Anyone seen a test on this yet? Read the EVO first drive on the 300 Trophy R. Seems to be a lot of love for the extremes to which Renault have went even if they are not 100% sure on the driving experience of the final product. The list price differential ( excluding crazy discounts) for all cars is probably all around the +50% over the Normal RS ie R26 was £20k to R26R about £30k. That price point step up has lifted each car into much more powerful completion ie R26R vs Focus RS back in the day with the famous top gear drag race. So now the new car is in the A45, RS3, M2 Comp bracket. Obviously the big differential on the 300 Trophy R is some crazy expensive options to take it to over £70k. I don't know how much of the new cars lap time (with Brakes & Wheels) is down to a single element like the carbon brakes?
Indeed. Given crutisim is r26r could do with a little more power and 300r carbon brakes feel not great and diff struggling with 300 bhp. The trophy 275 r maybe the ideal middle ground. Does show that compensating for More weight with more power hits its limit with fwd.
