R26 lowered subframes

Send me your seat frame and I can ave it lowered by approx 45mm, it will look factory I had my own done by my next door neighbor who's an engineer, will cost you £100 though

 

I'm in Nottingham , gray had the set out of my car so you can ask him what he thinks of them, I'm 6 foot tall and made a hell of a difference to the driving position , best thing I did

 

If you can manage without your car for a couple of days then you can just post me the 2 side mounts

 

Unfortunately not, it's my next door neighbor who will do it for you so he has to take it to work, very easy to take out you just need a couple of Allen keys and a couple of spanners, where are you from

 

Be great if you had a set made up and could send them and get the old ones sent back. Just a thought. .

 

I have mine done too, makes it a totally different drive,
I'll look out for a pair and pass them on to Steve for an exchange service

 

That would be great mark, I'll do an exchange if someone can get a pair , a lot of people will be up for this mod.

What do you have to do to these for this mod? I want my seats lower before I rip them out and fit Cobra Suzuka Pro GTs

Can anyone make the meg subframes fit a clio?

 

Way to much effort involved i would of thought.

I would just sell the Megane frames and buy come Clio ones.

 

Does anyone have a picture of a Megane lowered seat subframe vs standard ? be interesting to see what they look like and how they have been done.

Do you do these for recaros in the 250?

 

I've never seen the 250 ones but if it can be done then yes I can get them done for you mate

 

Yes 100% want some they could go LOADS lower. The side mounts are stupidly high on them and the coupe body shape of the 250 make it a nightmare! If you can do them I want to completly lose the function to adjust the height of the seat and just drop it as far as possible. Might be some good money in it for you as the clio guys are crying out for the these as the only company that does them in abroad and charge quite alot!

 

I'll be honest with you it's my next door neighbour that does them, he works for an engineering company and could always do with the extra cash, it helps him out and a few members out at the same time, the reason I get pissed off when people order rear strut bars and then don't pay for them, it leaves me having to pay for it as I asked him to make it so it's not his fault so I get left having to sell it to get my money back, but not to bad with seats if you don't pay you don't get them back lol
