Anyone actually heard anything yet? Bit pissed that I have neither my money or my decat I ordered 3/4 weeks ago. No ones fault on here. Very poor customer service by whybee. Whether it's through a group buy or not. We have all payed separately to his business after he applied for the money via pay pal. Would be nice to at least receive a confirmation email or a delay in postage email.
Pretty happy with the reply I got guys. Would have been nice to have got this email earlier but at least now I/we know.
I am very sorry for the delay in dispatching your order, we are due a delivery from Scorpion this week which will include the decat pipes. When the Group Buy was arranged, you should have been informed that there was a slight delay with them. * We have received your payment and as soon as the pipes arrive, your order will be dispatched. * I am very sorry for any inconvenience you have been caused. *
They were fine thanks mate, I sand blasted them and did a spot of dye penetrant to check for cracks and they were fine. Pulled me out the shit!
Wahhooooooo I have an Email also, should be here very soon, that's good as i also got my car back today from having the gearbox repaired and the LSD fitted.
Delivery will be Monday mate. I thought same but the Saturday delivery is extra 7 quid on top of the 9 quid postage.
Needs taking off and soaking for a bit to make it tighter when I put it back on. Also the metal ties are naff so I will be using some hose clamps instead.
Is it the metal ties with the little ball bearing you've got? If so they only work when the ball naturally wants to sit at the bottom as you pull it through otherwise it just keeps releasing.
I can get you some stainless banding from work if you want mate? It's used to hold the lagging and metal cladding on the steam pipes at work. Looks like this
Yeah that's the one mike. Couldn't figure it out. So good clamps will do the job! Boardy I have plenty of clamps thanks mate. I owner a mk1 Clio before with a custom exhaust! Ha ha. So I'm fully stocked up!
Took a bit of fiddling to get mine right, got there in the end. Some big jubilees will do the job! I got some sexy stainless M8 bolts and washers for the flange to centre section too.
Chris. No desperate need as most people don't bother. Like putting a coat on and not zipping up fully. It's going to keep heat in and is better than nothing . But if you want it perfect I would do what I did and wrap it dry. End to end. Cut lenght. Unwrap, wet, then wrap again.
I got 40mm one's which was plenty. Sticks through the the other side around 10-15mm with a washer on. Can make it out if you zoom in.
I didn't wet mine purely because it's tight enough anyway and when the exhaust expands with the heat it will get even tighter.
