R26 De-cat group buy from RS240

Its not even polished, ohh well i give it to the wife to make shiny and she knows i have bought lots of stuff for the Megane

 

I think my wife has worked it out that if i spend all my money on the Megane, i wont have enough to waste on other woman :cool:

 

Still not received an email

 

I had to pay extra postage on mine due to postcode on the plus side I should have it this week

 

Me neither, messaged him directly through email but nothing yet

 

Just had an email about one package saying it's scheduled for collection from whybee today. But bad after paying for next day delivery. No reflection on boardy though.

 

Not your problem mate, yes i had a reply from him about the postage on the 5 downpipes

I'm sure it'll be fine, patience is hard to come by these days

 

Cheers. I wouldn't mind usually but I paid for two lots (£12) postage I e each Ithe mounts and decat. And only one is scheduled for dispatch I have no idea which but neither have been "next day" from payment.

Don't feel bad Boardy, it's not your fault. You've done a good job with these group buys. Postage may be a bit slow but it is most of the the anyway.

I seriously hope they would of made sure to have enough for all of us in the 1st place. Paid for mine like 6 days ago now or something.

MJ57 how much did it cost for the ceramic coating on your other decat? Going to be doing it again?

im going to wrap it until winter then I'll be trying something different so the turbo and manifold will be sold on. Having difficultly shifting the one I have now so I'm not gonna bother.

 

Camcoat is cheaper.

 

Going to wrap mine also, I put up a thread about where to buy etc.

 

Just had an email from whybee, they are actually out of stock of the decat pipe and need to wait for delivery from scorpion so god knows when the decat pipes will actually reach us.

 

Great! So might not even be next week either...

Nice idea Mrclarke. I do love the smell of burnt plastic in a morning.
Seriously though is one type of exhaust wrap better than another? Or is it all pointless if your not wrapping anything else. My thinking is to protect my carbon bonnet as much as I can.

 

I've used loads of different wraps and all of them seem to be as good as each other.
I now only use cheap stuff off eBay and it's perfect.
You might want to put a turbo blanket on too to help the carbon bonnet.

 

Is there still room on this group but Boardy? Got a lad on Facebook asking as he's missed out.

 

Sell me the carbon bonnet and you won't have to worry about damaging it

 

Buy my ceramic coated manifold and never be effected by heat on the bonnet
