One day..... Hi Steve, Oulton was booked up by the time I got to see it...maybe next time! Off to Brands Hatch 11th & 19th and then to the Ring early September for 10 days. Plenty to look forward to! Fancy a trip to the Ring??
That sounds like a perfect mix!! I do not have a garage yet as they are being held back for "pending" group bookings but I think some will come free so maybe we should try and grab one to use between us and all chip in? What do you think?
Hi Steve, Bought the package off Glen including track day, garage, training and hotel........Oh and his car!!! Brands Hatch Weather.... Hi, I was there all day and when I was leaving I noticed a Silver Megane at the front of a garage and guess that was you getting ready for the evening session....had been looking all day for the "silver" one!! I would have stopped to Hi but had to get going as a long trip south and had been told that the weather was pretty terrible...and it was!!! Hope the rain stayed off and that you had a good time. I was in the Grey R26 (new car). Cheers
Yep that was me, didnt see you though! Only did the evening and the weather was ok, a little bit of spitting rain but still fine grip wise. Managed to do a 58 second lap about half way through the session. How was your day?
Brands Hatch.. Had a great day...Timing?........... Tut,tut wouldn't dream of it........ managed a 57.48 last week in my other car and a best of 58.65 in the new one which I was pretty happy about...What tyres are you using? I have some VERY worn Federal 595's on at the moment..
Some Yokohama A048r's, which seemed pretty good. Would have been better to do the whole day to get the hot pressures bang on and manage some clear laps. The R26 was one of the fastest cars out there in the evening session though.
Same on the day session....guys with the Caterham's not happy with a big ol' bus keeping out in front of most of them...HaHa! Have a set of A048R's ready to try out so be interesting to compare with the Federals. See ya next time maybe or Oulton Park next week if you're going?? Cheers
