R-link failure help anyone please? [intermittent]

  1. I have posted before twice an under a different query with some advice I have now passed on [thanks SPEN]

    After car gets hot.
    Stop and leave for 15 to 45 minutes.
    When re entering car, starting and moving off.
    Display shows N for neutral all the time.
    All the bar graphs and gauges are ZERO and will not display any criteria etc.

    Nothing I do will re set it.

    I have on occasions stopped car locked gone away come back and it has re set. Do not know if this is a coincidence, cooling down, draining, drying out, rebooting, or what.

    It is booked in again with local Renno sport dealer S.J. Cook Bristol and I have sent screen grabs of system failure.

    Can anyone shed any more light to help the techie when he gets it Monday please.

    [Last time it was all updated. I have updated it all twice since]

    sorry to to hijack your thread and hope you get this sorted.

    might you be able to ask your Renault tech to try and find the part number for the R.S. monitor?

    I know I had asked about you trying to find the part number for the monitor etc and you said you'd ask the Reno people but I have also been speaking to Steve Williamson at Endon Services Group and he has said he should be able to tell me the part number of the monitor if I can give him the VIN of a vehicle which has it fitted.

    Would you be willing to share your VIN on here or via private message so I can send it to Steve?

    Will understand either way.

    Been to the dealers and liaised with Customer relations and Technical at RUK.

    Known software issue. My software number is quoted. Pending a resolution update for mine early 2015.
