My R cilp decided it'd work itself loose and disappear at Knockhill last night so my actuator now has nothing to stop it jumping off/disconnecting itself from the hot side/wastgate end of the turbo. Anyone have one spare or an old fooked turbo that I can have the clip off ? Renault only sell it as part of the actuator rod kit at ~£110.00 with loads of other parts i dont need.
Have a gander down halfords in there clips and screws section (HFX369 is and selection of r clips, £2.09)
I have a large r clip in mine as lost mine too, I have a look tomorrow in the garage for a spare I'm sure I have one mate
No need now guys, my mate managed to get one through Arnold Clark for nothing...result ! Cheers for the input everyone ! Thats a very handy eBay link, I might just buy them and keep them in my glovebox so another trackday doesnt get ruined :mad:
