My R26 has done less than 2000 miles since its last oil change. I want to remove the oil filter to fit a sandwich plate for oil temp and pressure sensors. I know there will be a bit of oil in the filter, but the majority should be in the sump, so I should be able to remove the filter without draining the oil - is this right?!
Nice one. Probably lost 200ml from the filter. And 2cm of skin from my knuckles trying to tighten the sandwich plate!
