Query about automatic lights???

    Not sure if its only on the LUX models but my headlights turn on automatically when its dark.

    However, my side lights never come on, are they supposed to?

    My R26 is non lux and it has auto lights but I can't say I've noticed the side lights either way. I'll have a look tonight.

    Yes.

    Do they come on at all? are the bulbs ok?

    do your side lights come on when you manual switch them via the stalk?

    no the auto sensor is for full lights, side lights are controlled manually

    no but they should be on when the headlights automatically come on

    I was answering the original post :tongueout:
    auto lights feature isn't 2 stage its all or nothing

    I'm not even sure of the point of sidelights tbh.

    Bulbs are fine and they do come on manually . . .

    Just when your driving in dusk and want side lights only you have to switch them manually, then when it turns dark switch your headlights on.

    Or you end up driving through dusk/semi light conditions waiting for the auto to kick in.

    Oki doki at least I know there isn't a fault. Cheers for replies.
