Well.. rather quickly my previous project has took a U turn.. Friday I was informed of a genuine X85 shell for sale local for very little money.. just needs new sill and quarter panel then blast and paint. so now project is swap over the megane race car into this.. More will come soon
That's a proper race car shell (as in fron the race series) with the proper welding isn't it ? A great blank canvas !!! Can you fit a normal box or are you stuck with the Sadev ?
They actually part welded bolted cages so is in 2 halves... but yea genuine never been on road Motorsport shell.. I'm gonna use my meg box and engine in it.. only if I could get a cheap st82 not st75 Sadev will I use one as the cup sadev wouldn't take the boosted torque... Currently contemplating on converting to RHD or stay LHD
It will be a shame to take the megane apart mind as just getting it to how I liked it but the Clios a good shell and was a find I couldn't say no too.. but will match the colour scheme as recently had helmet done to match haha
