Hi guys, I have rs 250 just done over 30k miles I have noticed sometimes it doesn't go into reverse or 1st gear this only happens sometimes. Anybody else had similar problem I have 3 month warranty from Evans halshaw so think I might take it down tomorrow.
Is you're gearbox working alright now? I've change my mounts and had a small repair done on my gear box but still having a bit of a problem with reverse to 1st gear, thinking I might need to get it rebuilt
I had this intermittent problem, especially when cold, a real shove into 1st. I got RENTECH to do a gearbox oil change, 40000miles, and its now perfect. How can oil last a lifetime??
Booked in at Evans halshaw on Friday to get looked at as it is still within warranty, it does happen all the time just now and then but problems have got to start somewhere. Cheers for the replys guys it's appreciated.
I had the sticking so got my gearbox oil changed too m8 all went great felt so much smoother then within 2months my box broke
Right okay might go for an oil change then for now and if it persists will have a look at getting a rebuild, and has it broke again? Or is it all god now. cheers mate
Stop it glenn!! I also get this 1st gear problem from time to time.. 41k. Worried now lol. Maybe time for an oil change Already had the mounts looked over but seriously thinking of getting it changed out for the revised mount. I can't help but feel something isn't 100%. My revs ever so slightly go up and down on idle aswell? People had this before?
