  1. That's immaculate, I'll post a pic of the spare I've just picked up, unbelievably dirty!

  2. it is ultrasonic cleaning.

  3. My camera is damaged so I'm having to use the wide lense meaning they're not the best photos, but you can see the build up of oil and junk that has built up in mine!

  8. drive it, drive it. But after 14 years, nothing but a little cleaning comes.
it only takes about 2 hours to leave it like that hahahahaha

  10. I looked at mine and thought that's a lot of work, so it got left as it was :laughing:

How long before you get it built up and running ???

  11. Thats depends Ian, will remember where is the place of everything??:tonguewink::tonguewink: Just joking, I like those work with engine out, clean, rebuild and in again.
    Go!

  12. should be ready at the end of the week then :laughing::laughing:

  13. uiiii I hope so soon, now I will take the block to the turner to work it, and I would like to dedicate some time to the butt. to try to improve its performance a little

  14. Keep us posted on your progress :sunglasses:

  15. engine cylinder head I meant. the translator sometimes betrays me

  16. ohhh good you cleared that up, thought you were going to reshape the rear end of your car, flatten it off or something :laughing:

I wouldn't get to carried away with porting the head, it's forced induction so won't make that if any difference, normal aspirated well that's another matter.

  17. I know it is turbo, and that it will not show much. but I say that something plows not?

the exhaust manifold I want to mirror polish it or as much as I can and the intake I want to enlarge it a little, without polishing, just enlarge

  18. okay, think we need before and after pics

The exhaust manifold is cast steel, not sure it will polish but lets see :sunglasses:

  19. Not the exhaust manifold, not the engine cylinder head outlet.

  20. finally everything arrived!

  26. Good material man! What happened with that piston??

  27. common fault in megane 2. when you squeeze them a little

  28. Ok! The fuel rail that let one piston with lean mix, isn´t it?

  29. if you pay attention. Segment separations were split. So I was losing compression from the piston and I was getting pressure on the oil sign.

  30. we keep cleaning and preparing things

  31. Looking good there mate, do you have an air compressor ???
Also get some carburettor and injection cleaner or some brake cleaner, use this to spray in all the oil ports and then blow them through with an air line, just to make sure there clear of any shite.

  32. yes. I have an industrial compressor.
I also have an ultrasound machine, but I only clean with water. since I don't have a special product. but it takes away a lot of the work

  33. Today the air intake has had to work a bit. I don't know if I will notice any improvement or difference. but I hope it gets a little better.
