250 Powerflex or OEM?

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by noshadow, Jun 20, 2016.

  1. My 250 is in the garage just now for a service and some work. They called on Friday to let me know that some of my suspension bushes were perished (but no play). I can't remember exactly which bush they said but it was definitely on the front suspension.

Is it worthwhile going for the Powerflex bushes as opposed to OEM? Car is used as a daily but occasional track days and hoping to increase the number of track days I do. Basically what benefits do they have over OEM? Also, I'm guessing if I go for Powerflex it would be worthwhile just getting the "handling pack" and getting the lot replaced as opposed to just the perished ones?

  2. Better steering response, sharpens turn in, vehicle is stabler in straight line, also gives small amount of cabin vibration that you soon get used to. Must do rear bushes as well, no point just front

  5. Yes, super pro what I fitted, just the best, v happy with them, would say powerflex bit dated, haven't updated products for while, tend to do more general 'one type suites all' the superpro kit is dedicated to mk3 and can tell their bars have been researched well and are superb.
