My friend was driving behind me and said when I put my foot down there’s a little puff of white smoke and smell of rotten egg.

I was thinking a failing cat, anything else it could be? Any negative side effects?

  2. Sounds like nothing to me :tongueout:

    Does yours do it?

  4. Not sure tbh, never had anyone follow me and comment

  5. Maybe you can get it tested, could be on its way out, time for a sports cat/decat :tongueout:

  6. Egg smell could possibly be to many maccy ds sausage and egg bagels. Or is that just my car haha. Normally egg smell is related to cat

So probably a failing cat? Couldn’t be anything else like he map?

  8. Map should not be a problem, eggy smell is normally a sign of a cat going

I don't like the word usually haha, not sure what else it could be. If it is the cat I'm not sure if I should go for a sports cat or de cat and then find a friendly garage come MOT time.

  10. Mines got a sports cat, depends if you are chasing figures I guess

Not really, because both would require another remap anyway. Decat is cheaper though haha
