Thanks I realise it's a mechanical mod to the existing linkages to shorten the throw but was asking what the specifics are? It's obviously DIY
original linkage is machined out to except a different location point for the gear shift cable. makes a incredible difference to the feel and length of the gearshift,sorting out the meganes horrible vague action. Renault actually did something very similar for the R26R`s gearshift..but the modded version is even better. My car was probably the first to ever have this fitted other than the original swiss guy who designed it. I was just thinking the other day after a fast run through devon twisty roads,how sweet the gearshift is when rapid changes are needed. This,good tyres and brakes,plus a stage 1 make a R26 a match for most cars on a twisty road.
