Black wheels look better on black cars although ive never seen many with your wheels mostly just with cup wheels like mine
Yeah mine are just the standard 225 wheels, calipers are getting powder coated and the brembo logo will be airbrushed on. Next 2-3 months will be R26.R wing, trip to The UK to RSTuning for fitting of their exhaust and stage 2 map, new brake oil, calipers refurbished and fitted along with braided brake hoses, gearbox oil change and then rag it's trits off on The Ring
Been a while since my last update. Since then I've had an R clutch and SMF put on by Mark Black! Whilst I was on route to Bolsover. I stopped off at Derby to pick up some R26 alloys with Pilot sports on for £350. Can't complain. Had my R26r spoiler (colour coded) put on. Today I de wipered the rear as I received the carbon rear blank. This is how it looks. Tomorrow... Think il be putting on my new brembo brake pads, and a new set of coilpacks! Will get a forge BOV soon and possibly cupra R splitter!! Really loving the car at the mo. (Despite the costs) Thanks for looking guys.
Looks really well that mate. I have been thinking about rear wiper delete as there pretty useless anyway. Also im in need if a splitter but still unsure which to get. Im thinking more skoda as more oem! Great work so far though looks spot on.
Looks top notch that mate really like it. I really need to get my arse in gear and order the spoiler for mine!
Got bored yesterday. So brought some autoglym engine and machine cleaner. And cleared up some of the oil/grease! Also gave it a quick clean around the engine bay with autoglym bumper and trim... Not to some of yours standards but the first time I've cleaned an engine before. As you can see I have new coilpacks. They seem to have done the trick but I still get a slight pop.
Decided against the centre dash... Bit too much effort than needed. But may plan doing it in the future. (When weather gets a little better also) however I have another bit done. Which was also scratched to hell!! (Bit under handbrake)
the skoda splitter looks far better than the Seat one IMO Your car looks spot on. The wheels have made a huge difference to the car. Did you paint your calipers?Need to do mine
Nah mate haven't painted them. I do intended to though. (Same colour as alloys) but no rush in doing so!!
Any good photos of said splitter ? Been thinking of swapping mine but not seen a good photo of one yet !
Dump valve fitted. Just waiting to receive my blanking plate. Mist style washer jets should be here tomorrow also
Got them from a guy on here for £15. Was supposed to have them ages ago but the guy works away from home. Il see how many sets he has... I thought there was any member selling them on here about 2 weeks ago. Probs gone already though lol
Fitted the blanking plate!! My god it's a lot of work, that just looks so simple!! Need tiny f'in hands as well. Good job I had someone to back me up!!! All fitted and sounds lush anyway. Onto the next... What could that be?! Ideas?!
Recent mods to add to progress thread: Sun Visor strip New RS Badge A damn good clean Mods for the future: Fabia Splitter Possibly RS Clio Sideskirts Plasti dip a few things (exterior) Not sure what else?! Hmmmm
Looks very good mate. I fitted a fabia splitter on mine a couple of days ago. Looks loads better than the standard one that was held on with screws due to broken clips etc!!!
Yeah such a small piece of black plastic certainly makes a big difference. Mine didnt have one for about a month and it just looked strange without, it really finishes it off.
