I cant help but feel the Mk1 1.8 16valver should of had a mention! Having had a few of them and a williams i find the williams is great as a show piece but the 1.8 is actually a more rev happy and rewarding car to wring the neck off and enjoy the bends! driving a trailer queen williams on 22 yr old pirellis is not going to make the right first impression at all!
I've driven all on track except the 200 turbo, which is pants anyway by all accounts. I personally am surprised the 182 didn't get more credit, it's much closer in pace and enjoyment to the 200 as they make out, in my opinion anyway. the one thing they didn't mention is the utter lack of straight line speed in the 197/200s, just too heavy with not enough power.
