Currently running XP10's, Mega pads but they are getting low so want to try something else depending on price as the Carbotechs are pretty cheap for their performance.

Anyone ran one of the PFC compounds before and if so, What one? Want something comparable to the XP10.

Any info on the operating temps and Friction Co/ef for them?

Also just for those interested, Heres some of the Coefficiant Frictions i found while researching:

These are the approx. co-efficient of friction @ 100deg –maximum co-eff.
    RS29 – 0.43-0.49 - max working temp – 700c
    RS15 – 0.57-0.62 - max working temp – 800c
    XP8 – 0.58-0.60 - max working temp – 732c
    XP10 – 0.63-0.65 - max working temp – 898c

  2. Ive used Performance Friction pads immense things!

  3. I've just replaced my pfc 07 compound pads for ferodo DS1.11s.

Pfc pads were brilliant tbh quite, great coldbite and long lasting. If you give them a call and speak to ritchard he can send you charts and graphs regarding there performance as the compounds change often.

Ive only got to ferodos for a comparison and have yet to use them on a circuit.

Jamie look for a set of Hawk DTC60/70. Best I have tried by far. But maybe too much for road tyres...

I have heard good things about Hawk pads from several friends who use them on track, Ill give them a look

  6. hey Jamie, i got the PFC08 endurance compound, they are expensive but worth every penny, but they will for sure have lower coef. of friction than XP10, i'm not sure but it won't be over the 0.6, they are quiet, no need of heating them up, did not fade them at Brno Circuit even after a 30min session no signs of overheating them, they cool off quickly also, i use them even during the winter and they work fine even when my car is being parked outside, pagid has a new RST compounds, the 03 looks quite similar to the PFC08

  7. dS 1.11s all day, last well kind to your paint work

  8. paint can be cleaned and detailed, ironx regularly and clay every month and you'll be fine even with extremely dusty pads
