My nsr window doesnt work. iv tested it with a multimeter and get 12v at the regulator on pin 4 all the time but no 12v on other pins when pressing switch. Also i get 12v out of the switch on 2 diferent terminals deprnding weather i press for up or down, just wondering if there is a known method for testing these windows thanks for looking
water will have got in and fecked the regulator, they sometimes work again if you put the hairdryer on it for a while and then a quick spray with WD40, failing that, a new regulator, its a proper shit bit of design
i'd have a look on ebay for a reconditioned one, i got 2 from a seller on there, £40 each i think, but work fine and you keep the one touch function, Wrap a latex glove around it when your done, helps to keep it from happening again, i've had 3 x fail due to feckin water getting in:mad:
Yeah. Itll be that black box on the regulator. Called a temic unit. If you unscrew it. (Held on with a small gold torx screw) you can test the voltage at the 2 pins that press into the motor. And the test the motor itself get 2 small speaker terminal conectors and a length of twin core wire. And try it across a battery see if it goes up and down.
