   Because the standard head unit is not standard shaped in order to fit an aftermarket head unit you need to buy a new facia trim, so for you to fit a single-din blanking plate you would need to purchase both. Would be easier just to glue a piece of carbon (or plastic) in place of the standard head unit…..
