Starting to get on my tits now. It was a very intermittent parking sensor error. I assume with the rear as it happens when I pop it into reverse (I have fronts as well). it chucks the spanner up on the dash pretty much every time I get in the car. No error codes logged. So... Any ideas what to check and test? Is it likely to be a sensor or a wiring issue? Do they have an ECU?
Well like you say, starting with making sure the sensors are all plugged in and not corroded, would be a good place to start
Sensors are all plugged in. It seemed to start with rain. So sounds like ingress. Guessing I need to remove the rear bumper to get access
exactly same symptoms for me, rain or car wash induced, it was frayed cable up tight to one of rear sensors
Had a very similar issue in mine. Difference was that I mainly saw it when it was cold outside (2degC to -16degC). Turned out to be a chaffed electrical cable behind the rear bumper. Covered under warranty by Renault.
