I'm picking my car up tomorrow from the bodyshop after having the front bumper resprayed. The stone chips did my head in! I've been looking at various DIY paint protection films but I've come to the conclusion that they're all crap and I'd be better getting it done professionally, which costs far too much for a car like this. How does everyone else keep the paint looking as new as possible? Everyone else's cars seem to always look nicer than mine so I thought is ask!
Don't ride the ass of the car in front. Simple. I've done track days and a ring trip, in 14k miles I've got 2 stone chips that's all
I don't do that anyway, it's been like that since I got it and the lacquer was peeling off! I'm usually really careful so I guess it won't be completely ruined again in 6 months!
Chips are inevitable....own a Ferrari or Bugatti and take it down the mway 10 junctions and there will be some on the car!
