Paint protection

  1. I'm picking my car up tomorrow from the bodyshop after having the front bumper resprayed. The stone chips did my head in! I've been looking at various DIY paint protection films but I've come to the conclusion that they're all crap and I'd be better getting it done professionally, which costs far too much for a car like this. How does everyone else keep the paint looking as new as possible? Everyone else's cars seem to always look nicer than mine so I thought is ask!

    Don't drive it anywhere haha.

  3. 3m spary film

  4. Don't ride the ass of the car in front. Simple. I've done track days and a ring trip, in 14k miles I've got 2 stone chips that's all

  5. I've seen mixed results and if you mess it up its a right pain to get off!

  6. I don't do that anyway, it's been like that since I got it and the lacquer was peeling off! I'm usually really careful so I guess it won't be completely ruined again in 6 months!

  7. Jesus! I'm doing something wrong. 4 months, 4k miles, no track days and the thing is full of chips

  8. Chips are inevitable....own a Ferrari or Bugatti and take it down the mway 10 junctions and there will be some on the car! :worried:

  9. Yeah I'm going to Fcs on Saturday, but I don't fancy masking it all up like a show car!

  10. Join the club!!! Mine is really bad already after 5k
