  1. My central locking is a it dodgy sometimes it unlock/locks with the key and sometimes it doesn't it's the same with the sensor on the door it's like I haven't got the key on my just doesn't do anything when I put my hand on the handle Its intermittent work some days not others but it is starting to get worse!!

doesnt come up with anything on the dash wether the key card is in the slot or in my pocket! was wondering if any one can help

    thanks in advance,

  2. Old kind of door handles got that issues. Button does not work properly. I was quoted about £150 to change door handle on my Scenic mk2 about 5 years ago. I bet it may be more expensive now.
Hopefully it will be only some sort of wiring problem, easier to mend.

  3. I don't undestand it because they both work fine one time then the next the handle and the key card don't work at all so confusing!

  4. Have you changed the battery in the remote? Same issue when using the spare

  5. No haven't changed the battery and Im going to try my spare for a while and see if it happens! Cheers for the reply's

If it's in a pocket with a mobile phone it does this kind of thing,
It messes with the radio signal

  7. Oh ok mark cheers for the heads up! I've used my spare key today and it's been fine so far fingers crossed

  8. I'd say batteries, I had similar with mine. I don't us the key card buttons, but the unlock sensor got really dodgey so I swapped the battery in the key and its been fine ever since. Only when its wet does it take a couple of swipes

There not expensive you can normally get a hole pack in the £1 shop. I think thy are '2032' size. They just pop out the key with the back up master key
