Evening all, Currently own an Integra DC5 as my 'toy' car for pleasure and weekends!! Got a diesel for the daily drive but want to downsize the fleet and just have 1 car to save on running costs. Hate paying 2 lots of everything at the moment. As brilliant as the Teg is, it does get a bit tiring on a journey and i wouldnt want to use it as a main car. After some reading it looks like the replacement is going to be a Megane 250 Cup, so am on the hunt for one. Anyone owned a DC5 and now a RS250? How do they compare? Anyone want a DC5? lol Rob
Got chatting to a teg owner a couple months ago... his one sounded brilliant.. had quite a few mods but it didn't make it look distasteful
This isnt good....you're meant to be telling me how good the Megane is, not being interested in the Teg! Mines got a few mods, Eibach coilovers, camber arms and bolts and a fast road geometry. Poly engine mount inserts and a Tegiwa Carbon airbox. Sounds awesome, proper N/A screamer which i will miss tbh. I'll stick a for sale ad up rather than taking over this thread I saw a white RS 250 parked at Bicester Village yesterday, with a plate i thought i recognised and it was one for sale on here and Auto trader at the moment. In an ideal world im after a Yellow one with Cup pack, Xenons, Recaros and Nav so might be waiting a while for that to come up lol
You never know. I was waiting only 4 months, sitting daily on Autotrader, ebay, pistonheads and Renault website. I was looking for one with sat nav, 19", sunroof and xenons and finally got it locally :-)
xenons, recaros and nav.. are rare! let alone one in yellow. for starters... a buyer who specs recaros and cup pack will most likely choose the rs monitor instead of nav. can't have both u see.
Looked at and sat in a few and test drove a rs250 with recaros, befor i ordered mine,didnt get on with them, maybe a age thing but found the sport seats fine.
Yeah see what you're saying. Is the Sat Nav any good? Does it do anything other than nav and traffic? Is it like idrive on the BMW's, showing music info and album art etc?
For me the most important feature is Bluetooth connection, so you can stream music straight from your phone and change songs using controllers under the steering wheel. Sound quality is rather awful, so I recommend to change speakers and put dynomats.
