    dont mansion the police, I got pulled 5 miles from leaving oulton yesterday, illegally spaced number plates and speeding in a 40 limit, copper was sound let me off with a telling off and then asked if the car handled well.

    Oulton is quite bad for coppers hanging around after trackdays for some easy pickings. A few mates have been stopped when they forgot to take the tape off their numberplates.

    More often than not they are in the compression on the dual carriage way half way between Oulton and the M6. I always slow there.

    I was the person who left tape on my number plate at lunch time on the way to petrol station.
    arrived at the shell garage and then got blocked in by two cars and a dog unit!!!!
    i apologised and took tape off and they were ok. Was a bit over kill though. I did think that if my car had been stolen I hope they send the same response unit out.
