  1. Can somebody give some tips who done that before? i saw here on the forum that few members did that and looking for some advices

i want to spray them full black, not gray like they are now and have some moisture or i dont know what in front right headlight, here is the pic: IMG_20170425_091040-2.jpg IMG_20170425_091049-2.jpg IMG_20170425_091058-2.jpg

  2. Hi, they sell non OEM ones on ebay with black inserts, might be easier doing that

  3. I have the black insert projector headlight, but i want them more black from inside and also that circle around projector

  4. I've recently fitted non-OEM black lights from eBay and am not too impressed with the quality. I've still got my original chrome lights which are still perfect and great quality so am planning to open them up at some point and spray them black.

So long story short, I personally wouldn't fit the non-OEM lights but would persist and spray yours black/more black.

I'm 'watching' this thread to pick up tips on how to do it......!!

  5. Posted to keep an eye on this thread.

Many people have done this but no one has provided a step by step process.

  12. Really easy

    Remove the metal clips.
Heat gun or hot hairdryer all over till it's nice and toasty then you just need something to pry them apart keep the heat on and just pull apart

The black glue that holds them is super tacky so I'd advise some tardis of the like to clean it up

Them just strip down, key with a scotch pad, no need to prime I just used Matt black

Rebuild up, I resealed mine with Tigar seal

    Done in an afternoon
