My windscreen washer bottle ran out a few days ago - no biggie, I filled it up and went on my way (pre-mixed screen cleaner) washer works fine for front screen. I then had reason to clean rear screen- switched on rear wiper and continues forward on switch - Nothing happened for a second or so then the front screen jets started spraying the screen. Has anyone else seen this before? I can only guess that some blockage has happened in the feed pipe to the rear screen washer and the back pressure is causing the front spray. Any ideas as to how or where to look at solving this ?
Just to help anyone else with a similar issue ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301886910250 Pattern part but at less than £7 a fair bit cheaper than OE
Fairly common. Shuttle that blocks/opens the ports sticks or stops working so when you ask for rear water it runs the motor but the flow goes to the wrong port. Glad you got it sorted, and the pattern part is probably as good as OEM anyway.
