Yeah I would drop the oil and change the filter, just be careful you don't starve the turbo if the oil light is coming on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just don't run to much If the lights on, you obviously will need to start it up to test it, just make sure you knock it off as soon as you can and don't give it any revs so the turbo doesn't spool up. Might be worth changing the oil pressure sensor too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The oil pump is driven by a chain, if your draining the oil, then dropping the sump isn't a big job then you can see if the chain is still there, changing the oil pressure sensor would be quicker though
