Hello everyone, I noticed yesterday that there was a little bit of oil around the bolt thats to the front right of the oil filler cap. So i cleaned it up and just been for a spin and its back, So it's deffinetly leaking, Not a lot but enough. Anybody else experienced this?
i had a simular issue with my R26, i carefully undid the bolt and applied some loctite sealant under the head of the bolt, this solved my leak.
The clios with f4r do this too. undo slightly put some gasket sealer under the head and nip back down. Jobs good
The leak comes from the gasket sealant under the rocker cover. As others have said you can use a bit of sealant. It is worth checking your plug though for signs of oil as in bad cases, like mine, oil escapes into the cylinders. Renault sorted it under warranty.
