After changing the oil filter/oil yesterday I can see a bit of oil under the car this morning. I got coverered in the stuff when changing the filter (what a pain in the backside!) as did some parts of the engine. Will the small patches under the car just be the leftover crap from changing the filter?
If you didnt clean the engine bay after oil/filter change, it can be some leftovers. But i would keep an eye of the oil level and clean the filter/filter area to see if the oil leak is really there or not.
More than likely just when it runs down the pipes I gave mine a good wipe when I did mine A messy job especially when doing it the first time and someone just about welds it on
